What a beautiful pic of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Very interesting thank you for sharing I enjoyed reading your article. Would love to climb it one day. So sad to hear that there are only a certain number of years left till the ice caps are fully melted.

Are you doing any work in the Faroe Isl to save the pilot dolphins from the annual slaughter from the coming of age rituals of the locals. And if so have you had a positive response to stop this practice?
Ive received numerous petitions in this regard in the past.
Would love to receive feedback on this cause.

Also if you actually kill a pink dolphing you can go nuts because of the bad luck. The sloths also go down to reproduce. I have also learned this in the Amazon of Peru, in Iquitos. It’s really nice to see people carying about the jungle of my country, and our country neighbors. Thanks for spraying the word

I took this trip in 1999. I was not a birder then, but it was still worth it for the scenery. Now that I’ve been a birder for a few years (in large part because after the trip I kept remembering the enthusiasm of the birders on the trip, who were in ecstasy much of the time), I plan on taking the trip again, fully prepared. Can’t wait.
