“It was just after breakfast when our expedition leader called via the intercom and told us to come out to the observation deck. There was a large pod of common dolphins just ahead of the ship. They were jumping clear out of the water. Our naturalists, who were just as excited as we were, said the dolphins were pursuing small fish. We followed the dolphins for close to an hour. I took at least a hundred photos, trying to capture the dolphins in mid-air. This is one of my best shots.”
