“During a WWF tour to Kenya, we traveled to a village in the Maasai Mara Reserve. A group of Maasai women performed a dance to welcome us upon our arrival. They radiated such spirit! They were enthusiastic in their dancing and so happy to show us their handmade crafts and decorative clothing. I appreciated the opportunity to walk around their village to observe their culture firsthand. The people in Kenya truly live as one with nature – surrounded by wildlife, with all their needs provided by resources of the land.”
